It was a beautiful place built in the 1980s by a family wanting to give people a taste of what life was like in the early days. The family lives and works in their self created village. After a tour that included some history and ancient artifacts, we were taken to the onsite restaurant to begin our cooking lesson. The chef was super patient with my 11-year-old, giving her tips and tricks for holding a knife properly, folding grape leaves, and grating a tomato.
