“This is a typical large group activity. Most transport is done via double decker bus. The boat ride with swimming was the best part - the lunch was excellent for being on a boat. The English speaking guide at Spinalonga was a disappointment, mostly read excerpts from a book and gave information in a rambling, out of order way. Also, he did not show us around, stopped at only 2 places close to the entrance to make us stand for long periods while he talked. Once he was done we only had about 30 minutes to explore, which was not enough. The olive oil experience could have been good, but…”

We were informed that the weather had been closely monitored and that conditions were deemed safe to proceed. Unfortunately, the experience was far from ideal. Due to the wind and cold, we spent around 80% of the trip wrapped in towels and were unable to fully enjoy the activity.
