Make sure to wear athletic shoes for the hike down and out. The view from the top is not to be missed and one you wouldn’t get from arriving by boat. We saw a number of tourists trying to do this by rental car and were so happy to have Andreas driving and dropping us off right at the entrancement . Definitely recommend for your time in Crete!”
